U.S. Borax global supply chain

World-class boron distribution

Boron products that deliver

Right product, right time, right price

With customers in nearly 100 countries, U.S. Borax—a part of the Rio Tinto Group—is a world-class leader in distributing industrial minerals. Our distribution experience dates to the 1880s, when our company’s founders pioneered the use of 20 mule teams to haul borates out of Death Valley, California. The 20 mule teams that our predecessors used to haul ore out of the remote desert live on as a symbol of our company’s commitment to supply-chain innovation.

Today, our supply chain team safely and ethically delivers the right 20 Mule Team® Borax product—at the right time and the right price. To accomplish this, we focus on successful communication, effective relationships, sustainable and safe processes, and dynamic planning. Our ultimate goal? To meet the needs of our customers.
