Nules Operations

Our subsidiary company Borax España is strategically located in Nules, Spain near the Castellon Port. We manage port shipping, packing, compacting and distribution throughout the region.

Site capabilities

We have the following capabilities to best serve our European and African customers:

  • Bulk unloading in Castellon port
  • Dedicated flat warehousing for Optibor® and Neobor® products to avoid contamination
  • Fully-owned front end loaders and fork lift trucks for piling and handling
  • Granubor® production via compaction that is then packed in IBCs for easy delivery
  • Packing and palletizing bags and packing IBCs

When it comes to getting our product to customers, we offer two solutions, including:

  • Pallets loaded directly from docks
  • Tankers loaded from our silos

Safety culture

We operate in a culture of safety for employees, vendors, visitors, and customers. Our Borax España site is proud to have a stellar safety record. We have more than 25 years without a lost time incident.

Our safety measures include:

  • A sweeping machine for our warehouses to clean the floor
  • Dust collectors to reduce exposure and avoid dust release to atmosphere
  • A safe, dedicated area for drivers when they are waiting for their trucks to load
  • A safety line for drivers to open hatches when trucks are loaded directly from our silos
